2015-2019 Community Development Block Grant Five Year Consolidated Plan

The Planning/Community Development Department oversees the physical development of the city. It provides for the orderly growth, development, and redevelopment of the City of Florence by recommending policy, thorough planning, and management of developed plans.

It also acts as adviser to the Planning Commission that meets the fourth Tuesday each month.
 


Planning Department Meeting Information:

All Meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 5:00 PM in the City Auditorium unless changed, in which case a notice shall be posted.

PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING DATES - 2018

The Planning Commission typically holds a work session prior to the regular meeting at 4:00 PM.

* All applications must be submitted by 12:00 noon 22 days prior to the scheduled meeting.
