Mayor Andrew Betterton and the Florence City Council are excited to announce the new Tombigbee Public Parking Deck. The new six-level public parking deck consisting of 273 automobile spaces and 23 bicycle spaces will be on the corner of Pine Street and Tombigbee Street. The project is expected to be completed in 2024.

Citywide Cleanup 2024 saw an amazing 5660 lbs. of litter removed from our City streets and roadways! 270 volunteers representing 13 organizations and 9 City Departments came out to clean areas all over our City!!! Thanks to all who worked so hard to Keep Florence Beautiful!!
