Tyler

Before serving as mayor, Ron Tyler dedicated nearly 30 years to serving this community with the Florence Police Department, including the last 12 years as Chief of Police. This experience helped develop and prepare Mayor Tyler’s leadership skills and knowledge of how the City of Florence runs and operates. With roots that run deep in Lauderdale County soil, he and his wife Cassie believe in investing in our area and in our citizens.

“Thank you, Florence, for entrusting me to be your mayor. My focus over the next four years will continue to be about our homes, our businesses, our families, and our futures. Together we can ensure that Florence is the place our families choose to live, work, thrive, and play for generations to come. Let’s get started moving Florence forward!” ~Mayor Tyler
