Are you looking for child-centered HandyFest events? Mark your calendar and get ready to head for your library for Jazz it Up with Trash–an event where kids make instruments from recyclables they will use to make music with the excellent Microwave Dave.
Bring your cans, bottles, coffee cans, and shoe boxes to your library, where you will find all the crafting supplies needed to turn them into instruments! Microwave Dave will teach kids how to build a band as he shows them the history of jazz through the music they play. Combining learning with music and fun, this event is a must for kids!
