Cleanup Day 2024
Citywide Cleanup 2024 saw an amazing 5660 lbs. of litter removed from our City streets and roadways! 270 volunteers representing 13 organizations and 9 City Departments came out to clean areas all over our City!!! Thanks to all who worked so hard to Keep Florence Beautiful!!
Call 256-760-6495 to schedule an individual or group clean-up anytime of the year. We will provide gloves, vests, grabbers, and bags. Watch for 2025 Citywide Cleanup details and registration link on social media after the new year!
CITYWIDE CLEAN-UP DAY
Florence, Alabama – Mayor Steve Holt is challenging all organizations, businesses, and residents to partner this year on the CITYWIDE CLEAN-UP EFFORT.
Register your organization to clean-up anywhere in Florence, and we will provide: vests, gloves, bags, water, and breakfast.

When community members come together to clean up our city, it makes a clear statement that we LOVE our city! We hope to have hundreds of volunteers, and we need your help.
On Saturday, March 7, Mayor Holt, City Council members, Keep the Tennessee River Beautiful, volunteers, Florence city employees, organizations, and businesses will team up to target street rights-of-way that are heavily littered. Volunteers will meet in the Florence-Lauderdale Coliseum parking lot or previously designated areas from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.
