The City of Florence began curbside recycling service in 1988 and is proud to have one of the oldest recycling programs in Alabama. Our mission is to divert materials from the landfill, conserve natural resources, and contribute to the growing markets of reclaimed materials.

We offer group tours of the facility as well as on and offsite presentations for all age groups. For additional information call 256-760-6495.
