Solid Waste and Recycling Department
The Solid Waste Department provides… Residential and commercial garbage collection (dark green cart) Residential curbside recycling (blue cart). Residential garbage and recycling are collected on the resident's assigned weekly solid waste collection day when residents may place their garbage and recyclables curbside for pickup.
The City also provides fee free business recycling. Businesses can call 256-760-6495, and Solid Waste Collection will work out a recycling plan tailored to the needs of the business.
