We are excited to give our customers an easy way to report power outages! Starting today, you can text “ENROLL” to 256-764-4456 from your mobile device to be enrolled in our text messaging alert service. Once enrolled, when you have a power outage, you can simply text “out” to this number and your outage will be reported if your mobile number is associated with your account. If your phone number is not associated with your account, you may receive an additional text message asking you to update your account information with us. To do that, call Customer Service at 256-760-6512. This service will only be used for outage reporting and other important information from the Electricity Department.
