Our mission is to enhance the quality of life in our community by
serving our customers with safe, reliable, and economical electrical service.

The City of Florence Electricity Department serves over 51,000 customers in the City of Florence and Lauderdale County using 44 substations and over 3,500 miles of power lines. 

We purchase over 1.3 Billion kilowatt hours of electricity annually from the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) who provides electricity for 153 Local Power Companies.

 As a Public Power Utility, we answer only to the people we serve. Our decisions are based on what is best for our customers.
