The Florence Beautification Board has a long history of being committed to improving the quality of life in our City’s landscaping. The implementation of our Wildflower Project began in 2023 as an environmental initiative to improve air quality, reduce carbon emissions, prevent erosion, and serve as a source for pollinators in our area.
Phase 1
The initial plantings of Phase 1 are located throughout the city:
- Deibert Park
- Hwy 20 near the landfill
- Sportsplex
- City entrance near O’Neal Bridge
- Area near The Club
- Forest Hills School
