Florence, AL – Mayor Holt announces new adoption fees for the animals at the current Animal Shelter. The fee for all adoptions is $25.00 per animal and if your new buddy is not spayed or neutered, we will help you take care of that at no extra charge!
Have you ever wished you had a new best friend? Someone you could sit and talk to, play with or just snuggle? What about having a new running buddy? Florence-Lauderdale Animal Services has that special "someone" just for you and/or your family. You can visit the Shelter at 702 E. College Street in Florence. Hours of operation are:
Monday through Thursday 10:00 a.m.to 5:00 p.m.
Friday 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
We have a full house of potential best friends, and each of them would love to have their own forever home with you. The Shelter will be moving to a beautiful new building at 3240 Roberson Road, located in the Florence Industrial Park. With your help, we would like to find homes for ALL of our four-legged friends before the big move. You can adopt, foster, foster to adopt or rescue any of the animals. Please visit us and adopt your new best friend before we move to our new location!
